This course offers a comprehensive understanding of urban forested landscapes & arboricultural practices to maintain their health & function. In this course, we will explore the ecological benefits of urban trees, learn practical skills in tree care, & evaluate the socio-economic impacts of urban forests in communities. Tangible skills covered include tree climbing & pruning for tree maintenance, safety procedures in the industry, hazard tree assessment, & proper tree planting techniques.
