Catalog description

This course examines how firms and managers operate in an increasingly interconnected global environment. It provides a comprehensive overview of the strategic, organizational, and interpersonal challenges involved in managing business activities and leading people across national, cultural, and institutional boundaries. Key topics include the global business environment, entry strategies, cross-cultural management, international negotiation, global organizational structure and design, global leadership, human resource management across countries, and ethics and corporate social responsibility in multinational contexts.
