Catalog description
Humanity has embarked on a new era of exploration and economic expansion in space with increased public and commercial activities in earth orbit and beyond. This growth creates a need for lawyers to advise clients and participate in the emerging space law and policy discussions. Space activities present complex and unique legal issues involving international treaties, property rights, asset use and extraction, as well as environmental concerns, among others. This course will help students navigate these specialized areas and establish a foundation for new career opportunities.
