Lifetime Activity Program: Ice Climbing

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of ice climbing including best practices for trip planning, equipment use, technical skills, and risk management necessary to develop basic ice climbing/rappelling movement techniques and skills. Student interaction and active practical skill development are emphasized. No previous experience is required. All specialized equipment and transportation are covered by the course fee.
