Catalog description

This graduate-level course develops students' critical analysis and synthesis skills through the study of current literature and applied research. Emphasizing quality instruction for individuals with disabilities, the course addresses key issues in adapted physical activity and adapted physical education (APE). Students will engage in regular readings, literature reviews, discussions, presentations, guest lectures, and assignments, including term papers. These activities are designed to foster reflection on current practices and research to better serve children with disabilities.
