This course is a broad introduction to designing, prototyping, and evaluating user interfaces in the context of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) theory and practice. Additional topics may include the history of computer interfaces, theories of human cognition and perception, observational techniques, and experimental design. Coursework includes lectures, programming assignments, writing assignments, class presentations, and group projects.
