Catalog description

In this course, you will be given the opportunity to further your leadership and transferable professional skills. Through both mentoring a first-year student as well as partnering with an assigned professional academic advisor, you will develop critical skills in classroom management, public speaking, group and personal communication, and organization by supporting the facilitation of a first-year seminar, providing peer mentoring and advising, and engaging in professional development opportunities throughout the semester.
