Catalog description

Educators as Engaged Researchers and Reflective Professionals is the culminating course for students completing their B.A in Education. The course is an integrative experience designed to offer students the space and opportunity to reflect on their time as undergraduate Education students and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. This course will guide students in understanding their development within the major, encouraging and challenging them during this transitional, final semester to consider how they will draw on their knowledge and experiences in purposeful ways to positively impact their future academic, professional, and personal goals and endeavors. This work will manifest in different ways, and students will have the space to personalize their capstone experience; however, all students will be expected to complete two primary outcomes: portfolio and research experience.
