Mentoring Readers and Writers in the Elementary Grades

This course supports and extends the experiences of students who are simultaneously volunteering with the Seacoast Reads program. Students explore mentoring relationships, elementary students' engagement and motivation, effective practices for supporting literacy development, lesson planning, understanding student growth, and volunteers' own development as educators.
