Catalog description
The course introduces fundamental methods in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Students will understand and appreciate the main challenges in building and using classical and contemporary machine learning models, including generative artificial intelligence. Throughout the course, students will gain hands on experience applying theoretical concepts to concrete problems. The course requires prior programming experience in a scripting language such as Python, R, Julia, or MATLAB.
