This course provides students with an overview of the field of public relations, including its history, ethics, and current practices. Will include case studies of major public relations issues that have occurred both historically and in recent years; individual and class projects that enable students to determine how best to plan for and respond to public relations issues; and quest practitioners who work in various fields, including business, government, the non-profit sector, and education.
