Catalog description

Topics in Architectural Design Studio presents foundational architectural design concepts through a rotation of courses. Each course will present unique concepts to contextualize foundational design skills and processes. Concepts such as the relationship between the built and natural environment, sustainable and regenerative design and topics in the use of new technologies in design are among some of the topics that will be considered through a rotation of Workshop course offerings. As students develop basic skills in drafting, model making and design thinking they will focus on addressing the challenges and concepts unique to the topic presented.
