Communication and Language Disorders in Children

Catalog description

Students will examine characteristics, incidence, and etiology of language disorders in children and adolescents. Assessment and remediation of language disorders will be covered with opportunities to apply skills in simulated and authentic situations. Pre-requisite(s): SPA 320 , SPA 340 , Admission to either the Speech Pathology program, Masters Preparatory plan in Speech Pathology, or Human Health Sciences w/ Concentration in Speech Pathology. Co-requisite: SPA 491B required for program admitted Speech Pathology B.A. students.
