Theories of health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan are explored in the context of population-focused practice in diverse communities. A holistic approach to health care is emphasized for individuals, family, and communities using evidenced-based and reflective practice. Students critically analyze health status of communities for development of a community-based learning experience. Pre-requisite(s) Full-Time Track: NURS 404 , NURS 420 , and NURS 460 .
