Theories underlying compensation and reward systems in organizations and the administrative practices used to implement these systems such as analysis and evaluation of jobs, determining wage levels, various forms of pay and incentives, benefits, as well as government and union influences. Focus on understanding the effect of compensation on attraction and retention of employees, occupational choice, job performance, and job satisfaction. Pre-requisite(s): MGT 367
