This course provides an overview of the benefits and challenges with decentralized finance (DeFi) as compared to our current centralized financial (CeFi) system. Additionally, it explores the origins of various financial cryptoassets such as blockchain technology, Bitcoin, altcoins (e.g., Ethereum), and stablecoins. Pre-requisite(s): FIN 301 .
