Fundamentals of Technical Writing

Catalog description

ENG 407B teaches students the rhetorical principles necessary for communicating in different professional/technical discourse communities. Students will produce and analyze common technical writing genres and will work toward understanding how to analyze and react to rhetorical situations each genre and writing situation presents, including issues of audience, organization, visual design, style, and the material production of documents. Pre-requisite(s): ENG 102
