Methods in ECE 3: Science

Catalog description

Explores science concepts relevant for children aged birth through 8 years old. Students will review science resources and materials, inquiry-based science pedagogy, and examine assessment tools and developmentally appropriate practices and strategies in early childhood education settings. This course requires 8 hours of Field Experience. Pre-requisite(s): ECE 250 , ECE 251 , or EDSP 471 , Admission to the Teacher Preparation Program.
