Catalog description

Mathematical modeling is the application of mathematical language to describe processes or behaviors. In this course, we will learn how mathematical models are built, tested, and refined, and see how information derived from models can be used to guide decision-making processes. Both deterministic and stochastic models will be studied. Pre-requisite(s): CS 135 or CS 138; MATH 126 and 127 OR MATH 181
