Physical Chemistry I

Catalog description

Physical Chemistry I focuses on the fundamental understanding and the quantitative description of chemical and biochemical processes. The course covers thermodynamics (whether processes occur) and kinetics (how fast processes occur). Pre-requisite(s): CHEM 122 and MATH 181 , Pre-requisite(s) OR Co-requisite(s): PHYS 151 OR PHYS 180 :  All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher) .
