Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the disciplines of chemical pharmacology and toxicology. The course will focus on the advantageous and deleterious effects of chemicals on the human body. These fundamentals will be emphasized by focusing on specific drug classes such as prescription medications, natural chemicals, psychopharmaceutical chemicals and illicit drugs. Pre-requisite(s): CHEM 108 or higher; All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher .
