Fundamental principles of chemistry, properties and uses of the common metals, their compounds, elementary chemistry of carbon and introductory qualitative and quantitative analysis. Satisfies the Natural Sciences Core Curriculum. Pre-requisite(s): CHEM 121 (with a grade of C- or better) and MATH 126 . (Formerly CHEM 102); $45 lab fee.
