Catalog description

Introduction to the neurosciences, emphasizing cellular, molecular, and physiological aspects. Establishes a foundation of cellular neurobiology and moves on to selected topics in the organization, function, and development of neural systems. Pre-requisite(s): MATH 120 or higher and; Biology pathway Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 190 , BIOL 209 , CHEM 121 , CHEM 122 ; or Human Health Sciences pathway Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 189 , BIOL 223 , BIOL 224 , CHEM 108 .  All pre-requisites must have a grade of C- or higher.
