This course will cover the periods in the history of Medicine, from prehistoric times to the present, chronicling and analyzing the global progress in the healing arts, the process of diagnosis, the evolution of procedures in surgery, and the rational in the use of various medicinal drugs and potions. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 224 or BIOL 251 or BIOL 351
