Songwriters tell stories through lyrics. Pop icons take this storytelling to new heights with lighting, costumes, visual images, and other spectacles of theatre. In this course we will discover the connections between Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Madonna and Prince as we explore their art through the marriage of life, storytelling, music, film, and the impact they have had on popular culture.
