TEACHING OF WRITING THROUGHOUT THE CURRICULUM

Catalog description

This course is designed to enhance teacher candidates' knowledge of teaching writing. Candidates will learn about research-supported writing instruction strategies and assessments. Candidates will be writing extensively throughout the course as they examine the varied ways people communicate through writing. They will explore a variety of modes, genres, and digital tools to write and encourage students to write for authentic purposes and audiences.
