Catalog description

This course is designed for students majoring in Exercise Science, Physical Education, and related fields to develop leadership skills necessary to teach safe and effective resistance training programs. Students will gain knowledge and skills in proper body positioning, technique, spotting, breathing, and safety procedures with both free weights and machines. Emphasis will also be placed on program design, progression, and modifications for diverse populations.
