RESEARCH IN COUNSELING

Catalog description

This course is designed to familiarize students with research that enhances the knowledge base in the profession including an understanding of research methods, statistical analysis, needs assessment, and program evaluation. This course will prepare the student as a professional to understand and evaluate research and design research projects. Students will become proficient in analysis of data sets, designing and evaluating research designs and techniques, and having the skills to understand primary research in counseling literature.
