Catalog description

Differences between sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, and sexuality. Social construction of gender, and the intersections between gender and other social identities (e.g., sexuality, race/ethnicity). Interrogate gender within the field of psychology (e.g., developmental, neuroscience, cognitive, personality, social); Role if gender in important aspects of the human experience (e.g., bodies, violence, media, work, parenthood, mental health). Application of gender outside the classroom (e.g., how gender shapes our every-day lives and experiences).
