Catalog description

Provides a forum for scholars to explore specific areas related to instructing orientation and mobility (O&M) within and beyond the conventional text by diving into current research and instructional delivery techniques. Scholars will dissect current topics in O&M that continue to evolve and affect the delivery of instruction including intersection design, vehicular phasing, pedestrian phasing, yielding strategies, accessible pedestrian signals (APS), instruction in adverse weather, travel in complex environments, transportation options of travelers and strategies, advocating for specific instructional environments and current delivery models of O&M instruction.
