Catalog description

To understand how and why students with visual impairments may require particular accommodations in educational settings, we will examine, describe, and practically apply information about the anatomy and physiology of the eye, visual pathways, optics, visual examinations, eye disorders, age related changes in the eye, and disease of the eye. Functional and environmental implications of low vision will be discussed and applied to practical classroom situations.
