Design and operation of basic digital amplification systems. Discussion of advanced signal processing strategies used in current hearing aids. Instruction and laboratory practice in the electroacoustic analysis and real-ear probe microphone measurements of hearing aid systems and making earmold impressions. Introduction to earmold/plumbing acoustics.
