Designing and conducting hypothesis-driven research with plants to measure response to abiotic factors in their growing environment. Experiences include the scientific process from observation of plant growth phenomena, review of relevant peer-reviewed published research, formulation of testable hypotheses, methods planning, data assimilation and analysis, and writing and oral communication of results in the style of research professionals.
