Examine the major principles of employment law and apply them to strategic and managerial decisions in business settings. Explore the formation of the employment relationship, wage and hour compliance, employment-at-will and its exceptions, workplace discrimination and harassment, employee privacy, and accommodation requirements. Analyze real-world cases and scenarios to strengthen skills in recognizing legal risks, supporting compliance, and balancing employer obligations with employee rights. Develop practical tools to manage people effectively while aligning organizational practices with the law.
