Selected Topics in Property and Natural Resources Law Seminar

Catalog description

This seminar will cover advanced topics in property and natural resources law. Students will consider legal and interdisciplinary approaches to solving some of our most pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges. Representative topics, subject to instructor discretion, will consider how property and natural resource laws relate to modern food systems, energy infrastructure, housing provision, climate change, public land access and management, and further issues of environmental, economic, and racial justice. Students will complete a significant writing requirement.
