Catalog description

Law and Medicine surveys major topics at the intersection of law and medicine in America today. These topics relate principally to the legal implications of health-care quality and cost and to the legal implications of access to health care. Within that range, our particular focus will be on the rights of access to health care; on the financing of health care; on the legal implications of the quality of health care; and on the medicolegal issues surrounding organ transplantation.
