Catalog description

This course examines the principles of employment discrimination law, including theories of violation, methods of proof, administrative and judicial procedures, remedies, and litigation strategies. The course will cover Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as other federal and state statutes dealing with workplace discrimination based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, and other protected statuses.
