Examines the theoretical and scientific underpinnings of environmental policy as well as specific federal laws designed to control water and air pollution or assign liability for toxic cleanups and pesticide use. Issues are viewed from several perspectives, including those of regulated businesses, environmental activists, and government agencies. Economic and policy options will be identified and related to legislation.
