Catalog description

Assists new students in making a successful transition to the University of Nebraska, specifically the College of Journalism and Mass Communications, both academically and personally. Fosters a sense of belonging, promotes engagement in the curricular and co-curricular life of the University, encourages self responsibility, and articulates the benefits of a higher education and the expectations and values of the University. Helps students develop and apply essential study skills, communication skills and explore interests, abilities and values.
