Catalog description

Part one in a two-semester Preparing Future Faculty Program exploring various faculty roles. Seminar participants interact with faculty from surrounding campuses, prepare teaching portfolios, present job talks, and engage in mock interviews. Teaching and research expectations, tenure and promotion standards, campus life, and faculty governance at different types of colleges and universities are discussed.
