Understanding and applying individual strengths, interests, values and personality type, as they apply to an individual's choosing a college major(s) and career option(s). Active participation in self-assessment activities, exploration of majors/careers, experiential activities, utilization of the decision-making process and conducting occupational research as considered through several career development theories.
