Issues in Ensuring Quality Professional Development

Catalog description

Students will examine emerging issues related to selected educational leadership challenges and develop implementation strategies for resolving these issues. Using the standards for professional development identified by Learning Forward (formerly the National Council for Staff Development), students will review the literature and define the selected issue, discuss and evaluate examples of best practice, complete case study analysis activities, and collaboratively develop a professional development plan of response.
