International Research Methods for Advanced Global Scholars

Introduction to the intricacies of conducting research in countries other than the US. The course is divided into two sections. Section I prepares for successful global research by focusing on cultural competence and sensitivity, developing international relationships and collaborations, and global professional ethics. Section II will focus on applications of these concepts by introducing a variety of successful approaches and research methodologies through the international research of CEHS faculty. The emphasis will be on qualitative and quantitative research methods used across the multiple disciplines represented in the college.
