Catalog description

Explores how technology can be used for positive youth development and productive family life. Focuses particularly on American and global youth and families. Moves away from a simplistic view of youth and technology (e.g. they have no sense of privacy online, they just don't want to talk to anyone face-to-face) or families and technology (e.g. technology is intruding our valuable dinner time), and aims to understand the true relationship among them and devise ways to live with technology in a positive manner.
