Preparation to teach basic construction skills, understand technology, fabrics, and the uses and applications of textiles within the home, business and industry. Curriculum within the clothing and textiles classes in middle and high school FCS classes should incorporate intellectual and critical thinking skills along with the traditional technical subject matter taught in the past.
