Introduction to principles of parenting within multiple contexts including developmental, structural, and cultural perspectives. Evaluation of parenting concerns and relationships as they apply to working with families. Content will cover parenting philosophies as well as a central focus on programs and practices related to parent education. There will be a strong emphasis on the links between theory, research, and application.
