The fundamentals of molecular biology and biotechnology and applications. The fundamentals include methods for DNA cloning, sequencing, annotation, recombination, mutagenesis, and expression. The applications include the production of molecular diagnostics and therapeutic agents etc. with a focus on the molecular biotechnology of microbial systems.
