Transitional Certification Program: Student Teaching

Catalog description

Guided participation in various phases of either a public-school agricultural education or skilled and technical science program during a 16-week residency arranged by the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication. Student teaching provides a planned, learning experience in a real school setting in which the teacher practices the application of professional knowledge and skills, develops a personal style of teaching, and demonstrates teaching ability under direct supervision by school and university personnel.
