This course provides an integrated approach to technology and the skills required to manipulate, display, and interpret mathematical functions and formulas used in problem solving. Topics include the properties of plane and solid geometry, area and volume, and basic proportion applications; simplification, evaluation, and solving of algebraic equations and inequalities and radical functions; complex numbers; right triangle trigonometry; and systems of equations. Upon completion, students will be able to demonstrate the ability to use mathematics and technology for problem-solving, analyzing and communicating results.

B21 notes: BLENDED COURSE This course is a blended format whereby instruction is both face-to-face and online. Up to 50% of the total contact hours per week may be scheduled for the online portion at the instructor's discretion. Students are expected to attend scheduled class sessions as well as complete online assignments to be successful in the class. Webcam, microphone, computer, and reliable high-speed Internet access are required. Online exams may be proctored. VIRTUAL COURSE This course is a virtual course. Students are required to meet online during the scheduled course time in a remote learning platform such as Zoom or Blackboard Collaborate as determined by the instructor. Testing may be proctored. Webcam, microphone, computer, and reliable high-speed internet access are required. Attendance in the virtual class within the 10% point is required for course enrollment verification.
