This course introduces basic camera operations, roll film processing, and photographic print production. Topics include contrast, depth-of-field, subject composition, enlarger operation, and density control. Upon completion, students should be able to produce photographic prints with acceptable density values and quality.

H01 notes: HYBRID COURSE This course is a hybrid format whereby instruction is both face-to-face and online. Over 50% of the total contact hours per week will be online. Students are expected to attend scheduled class sessions as well as complete online assignments to be successful. Webcam, microphone, computer, and reliable high-speed internet access are required.
